Joanna Graiver

Joanna brings a wealth of experience in venture capital and startups to OpenOcean. She was previously an investor at Fuel Ventures, an early-stage VC fund in London, where she led multiple deals across fintech, developer tools and deep tech sectors. During her two-year tenure at Fuel, she represented the fund on the boards of 20 portfolio companies. Joanna began her career as a data analyst at PwC, working with international financial institutions. She later founded a digital health startup through Entrepreneur First and helped over a dozen UK and EU startups raise close to €6 million in funding while at the fintech startup Crowdcube. Combining technical expertise with hands-on experience, Joanna holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Edinburgh and has worked in technical and product management roles at venture-backed startups. Outside of work, Joanna supports City Harvest, a major London food charity, where she founded and chaired their Associate Board. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, with an international background and strong ties across the UK, US, Europe, and Latin America.
